One Sunday each month I will host a "Citizens Town Hall" and meet with residents to "HEAR" them. I will hear the concerns of Hazleton residents, follow through on potential resolutions, and contact them with updates on their concerns.
Your mayor MUST be more than a mouth piece; your mayor must be a LEADER who places the moral and ethical concerns of the group ABOVE personal gain or the benefit of a few. Your mayor MUST be held accountable and to the highest standards possible.
But it must be understood that as mayor I cannot make everyone happy but I will do my best for the public good or I will not seek re-election.
Once a month I will host a "Business Owners Town Hall" where buisness owners will have an opportunity to meet with me in an open forum. At that time, I will hear the concerns of business owners and managers, follow through on potential resolutions, and contact them with updates on their concerns. Additionally, each week my plan is to randomly visit different businesses and just simply talk with owners, managers, and employees to ask them what their city government can do for them.
Each Monday I will conduct sensing sessions and meet municipal and city employees individually, or in groups, for two hours or more if needed.
Further, I will conduct 1-on-1's with municipal and city employees to hear what they have to say.
What's more is that I will provide annonymous surveys that will allow workers to provide honest feedback without fear of reprisal to voice their concerns so I can identify chronic and systemic issues which can then be addressed and rectified.
If we work together as a community and team we then all share in the credit of the city's success. By doing this every employee, every elected official, and every resident feels that they matter in how our city progresses.
I have succesfully led some of the finest military members for over two decades, and owned, managed, and founded successful businesses and non-profits for over forty years. As such, I bring that same dedication of tireless devotion to duty and the care and welfare to all whom I will serve.
